Daniel Schlaepfer

Daniel Schlaepfer (1954) is equally passionate about arts and sciences.  He first turned toward botany and pursued studies in natural sciences at the University of Lausanne—studies that he interrupted to travel the world, including the Far East.  It was when he returned from his peregrinations that he “entered the world of art” in Paris to devote himself to his research on light.   A self-taught light artist, Daniel Schlaepfer lives and works in Lausanne.  He is active worldwide and collaborates regularly with other artists and scientists.
